Literally irl, it's kind of the same for trans people disclosing they are trans before the boombayah... coz consent is key and it's better for both parties anw. And in omegaverse, this carries more risk coz accidental pregnancies might happen (it already did with Pete hdakhskaja)
EXACTLY! yes, people want people for what they think they are regardless but the conversation beforehand is key to make sure all parties involved have a hand in giving the consent
in the world of ABO, how are boundaries around genders set? like yk, the conversation of genders is a weird thing to divulge before the boombayah but isn't it like a safety hazard? like if this super famous artist is just sleeping around without actually confirming the partner's gender (and in this case, mc i the one who's concealing his gender) with someone who he doesn't know is on the pill or not, and can/can't possibly conceive? like is it weird that i think there's a conversation to have there? because it's not a question of gender identity, it's more so about honesty and consent
