So I caught up with the translated chapters and it just further solidifies how stupid I think Minwoo/2nd lead lovers are. He is very overprotective, lecturing him, telling him what to do, saying stuff like “I don’t want him to go down the wrong path! Don’t be with him anymore!!” Acting like his parent or something, more strict than mc’s own sister. Wanting him to be locked up in a cage all to himself, that includes his friends. MC literally only has one friend cause of him. MC has shown he’s uncomfortable and how suffocated he felt when 2nd lead does this. He had every right to blow up at 2nd lead. MC was pushed to that point where he exploded. Do you know how awful it feels to be pushed to so much stress that you have to yell for the person to get the point? And it’s the fact that minwoo blatantly said it TWICE that he was wrong and aware. He fr admitted that he was doing it for his own benefit cause he doesn’t want him to be with anyone, that he didn’t care for mc’s feelings.

Minwoo had so much tunnel vision or rage and jealousy over seeing mc and ml mutually kissing, he beat the ml unconscious one-sidedly. But then he also sees mc almost get raped and he controls himself and just glares?? I get there was a ton of guys in the room, but how is it that he’s so chill afterwards compared to seeing mc mutually be with someone? Anyways don’t get me wrong, just cause I’m talking about minwoo doesn’t mean I think the ml is better. It’s obvious ml isn’t good. But it’s annoying when people ignore the 2nd lead’s bad actions just cause they like him more. If anyone met the 2nd irl and was in mc’s position, having an obsessive friend who you don’t romantically like, tell you what to do and controls you, makes you feel scared of their reaction isn’t normal.
On another note the raws are so frustrating rn. MC AND ML are being stubborn asf about not communicating about important things. It just makes everything worse and it doesn’t help that MC keeps making dumb decisions like repeatedly listening to the yellow hair, and meeting up with him.
So I just started reading this cause of a tiktok post- and I’m convinced ppl who get 2nd lead syndrome from this story are actually blind. Obviously the ML isn’t a green flag, but they praise and love the 2nd ML like he’s an angel?? I just read the first chapter and the fact that the 2nd lead doesn’t even want the mc to join a group chat to meet new people?? And then another part where he punches the ml cause he’s jealous after seeing him and the mc kiss?? That’s already a clear red flag that the dude is possessive. People are hating on the mc and ml when the 2nd isn’t much better. Their logic is: “sure, the 2nd may have SA mc once, but the ml has done worse!” Like that cancels out what the 2nd lead did. These certain readers really love to stay blind and dick ride the only guy they like huh?
