To be fair, it's possible to survive a headshot, though it's rare. And he didn't shoot well, so you could say it wasn't even a headshot.
Technically it can happen if he fired the gun at an angle. What's absurd is that he didn't permanently damage his ear with the gun being fired so close to it. That would've caused him losing his hearing and potentially having balance issues forever but dude was perfectly fine in no time. That makes no sense whatsoever.
Gurl a friend of mine was shot in the forehead and he's still alive so it's very friggin possible
