The author is really good at shaking my emotions:
.Mincheol didn’t continue school because he wanted to help Na Hae Soo. It was his choice, but even Hae Soo said he could’ve just left her to die alone. This choice actually ruined Mincheol’s life.
.In their married life, when they needed money, no one would lend them any. Mincheol turned to loan sharks, which left them suffering in debt. Selfish or not, what else could he do when his small income wasn’t enough?
.Na Hae Soo was a good wife—she even ended up financially supporting Mincheol, doing all the housework while he lazed around. But then Mincheol cheated with a younger girl, which was cruel.
.I just wish the author would let them move on—Mincheol with his new girlfriend, and Hae Soo with Taeha—without revenge. Mincheol became a villain because of life, not pure malice. Taeha loves Hae Soo and hates Mincheol, but can’t they just sit down and talk it out? Maybe Hae Soo could even forgive him. I know Mincheol got his job from Taeha, but can’t we just see it as repayment for saving Hae Soo back in high school?
.I know I sound drunk since my comment is pro-Mincheol. He’s a bastard—yeah, I know it, and I hate him too. This is why I hate it when the author shows the villain’s past.
