Ok, so no, the father doesn't die. I think they get their redemption arc, as they were brainwashed by Sharon the entire time. The father and brother have been brainwashed since the day they gave the cure to MC when she was a child and have believed the lie they were told about needing to keep MC unloved in order for her to stay healthy as all the illness would be passed to Sharon, who has been faking it all this time.
It's a messy thing there between MC and Sharon, but more spoilage is that Sharon is also someone from the other world who entered through the same account as MC which caused the bug in the system. There's history there between the two, but to sum it up Sharon cannot seem to take MC's abilities unless MC commits suicide.
It's a messy one that goes through the many troupes it seems.
Someone spoil me that the father dies. I don't care what reason he has to insult her so much. I do not want any redemption for him and the brother they can rot in hell.
