Seths soul is extremely unstable and broken beyond repair. Osiris kept experimenting on him allll the time and by the size of sand all over egypt u can see just how severe and intense it might have been to have your soul crack snd be pieced together uncountable times. He's like a ticking time bomb n.last time he lost his mind he committed countless genocide war crimes and slaughter against women and children for decades and even abused anubis. Compared to that he's doing much better now and this time even tho he lost his senses during the attack he snapped bavk to reality very quickly too and seeing the horror he committed towards horus rattled him too. He's wobbly nauseous stumbling and almost on the verge of a complete emotional break down which we know is dangerous cuz thats when osiris always strikes ooof....

Cursed as in like made insane beyond help. Imagine u is a very successful person doing perfect in life happy eith your perfect family complete with kids and your own kin comes and completely turns everything upside down. Osirs main attacks are always mental abuse and manipulation. He made seth believe that sand is worthless and he was originally even more inferior than the most trivial of gods example flower god nefertem. He said its only because of osiris that seth is powerful n weilds sand powers or is able to defend egypt. Great critical hit to one self esteem.
Secondly he convinced seth that neph cheated on him because she wanted a kid and aeth was infertile and this is precisely why she chose to cheat on him with osiris n love osiris. So in a way he robbed seth of his little family as well the family that he only orchestrated n formed to keep seth leashed and sedated by his side. (Yes he made seth n neph marry cuz each time he broke seth during his experiments he made neph fix his soul n bring peace to him so them staying married was crucial for seths existence and to keep seth beside orisis) oisirs lying abt the infertility when it was him who stole seths seed. Another reality altering critical hit to seths masculinity and self worth. And the rape that he did. The way he trapped him made him entirely powerless at his mercy. He really drilled in seth that in this world nobody can love someone as pathetic n weak like seth and only osiris is the true one for him who sees him makesnhim powerful and loves him truly. ( my fcking ass ) anyway u see just how badly this bro has it. For a defender god to turn towards his own subjects n commit so much senseless killings he really isnt okay mentally. But he just had started on his journey of atonement and finally fell for someone of his own choosing free from any form of manipulation or tricks but even.that came crashing down on him so its natural that he relapsed for a bit. Truly tragic
