I find it interesting because it's realistic. Because of what his father taught him, or rather manipulated him, he developed this twisted idea that you have to punish the one you love when they do something wrong. It reminds me of a story where a pedophile took in two children, abused them and taught them that it's normal to love someone, and one of the boys developed a core pedophilia and didn't understand why what he was doing was wrong. The realism is very interesting. Of course I still hate Ceaser, even if I understand where his behavior comes from, he's a monster and I always puke when I see him.
