if it really is a retelling i'd be disappointed. it's obvious this creator has good story telling but definitely issues with pacing. and you're right, i feel like the last 10 or so chapters have been just very similar, i just want the plot to move lmfao
i think the story is okay. it’s self indulgent, a bit too much i think. the pacing is very slow and it constantly brings up her fears in dating Tae ha and really leaves the story in a stalemate. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing for her to be so hesitant, it makes perfect sense but if feels so stagnant and that we’re not witnessing her grow as a person or character as much as we could.
From this chapter I get the idea that this is actually a narrative recount from his bodyguards perspective from that one scene in the chapter and they actually never make it. Which…the relationship was built on lies at least on Taehas end so it’s to be expected but still kinda whack. I’d like it if he treated her a bit more honestly and earnest,and I’m still hooked but it’s a bit disappointing how every chapter just feels like more of the same
