Actually what I found dump about this is that as a well trained agent of a country shouldn't he have been more cautious and sharp?? TT But then again left alone in another country to fend for yourself after finding ppl from your own agency betrayed you, I would have a mental breakdown too...So can't really blame him for making rash decisions.
Plus I think he just hates to see Zhenya all arrogant and winning...As he also considers himself to be a manly prideful tough guy so he cannot accept another guy "topping" him (literally and figuratively).
Wishing to see TJ finally win though...Like Zhenya deserves to take at least one successful hit from our boy!
