To be honest...

I was intrigued by the title and to see what drama it would bring. It started off predictable, which I don't mind, but then it hit me with a banger!! The duke was a regressor and he realized he was a character in a book!! That's a rarity in the romance/drama world, so I was more invested to see how this played out.

But it didn't...So far there isn't any real obsessiveness from the duke, except over some letters and not over his wife. The FL is a boring cutout who has lost her spark from the beginning. For the ML to be her favorite character she doesn't treat him like it at all. (She should learn from Hestia how to treat a bias!!) In fact there interactions are dull and lack any signs of affection or growing affection. Dull...dull...dull...even their horses have a better love story!!

Honestly, I'm only sticking around for Eunice and William's story as they are way more engrossing/intriguing than the main characters. Too bad this story wasn't about them. A painter and a prince.
