The creator puts in so much effort that she makes the chapters 2-3x more than Webt**n's base requirements for an episode. If you really wanna support the series, buy the fast pass chapters or super likes for the series on Webt**n!!! Or just support her on Patreon if you don't wanna give Wbtn any money!!!!
I've been following unOrdinary for 9 years now and it definitely deserves more recognition than just another series you dropped 5 years ago and haven't touched since
Now that season 3 is starting with a bang with John, Sera, Isen, Remi, and Kuyo all working together to break Blyke out of jail while Arlo is MIA (memory loss/hypnotized into being an obedient govt worker), it's a good time to read unO and actually catch up...!!!!
I assume most people dropped unOrdinary around the time John had his justified crash out and beat up a bunch of kids so here's what happened since then:
- Seraphina makes a deal with Spectre to regain her ability for a bit in exchange that she works for them and they don't go after her friends... Arlo is there too
- Sera snaps John out of his mentally ill rampage and he goes home to New Bostin for a month to find out the truth behind Clare's "betrayal" and that he's been living a lie kinda for the last 2 years. John decides to listen to people and not get super mad and defensive
- The Safe House kids decide to go to Rowden but Sera gets John and Arlo to come with to protect Blyke and Remi.
- Sera steals conversion tech from NXGen (sponsored by the bureau) while Spectre attacks the Safe House
- John loses his ability protecting the Safe House but Terrence (invisible kid) is arrested
- John and Seraphina nearly get assassinated, this steels John's resolve to get his powers back
- Arlo joins the bureau in the Anti Corruption Dept, but this makes Remi mad. Arlo's mentor is the former Ace of Wellston give or take like 7-8 years ago
- Remi, Blyke, and Isen decide to team up with Kuyo as vigilantes to stop EMBER after Kuyo gives Remi closure on Rei's death
- Sera makes a plan to steal an ability recovery machine from Spectre but she and John nearly die trying, but John is able to destroy the machines
- the Bureau is planning on arresting Seraphina because they implicated her from Terrence's memories (he got assassinated by Spectre while in prison), so Arlo breaks the law and tells her to leave Wellston and she does
- Remi, Kuyo, Isen, and Blyke head to Lovun to stake out an EMBER deal and see Brims use Rei's lighting via conversion tech. They nearly kill Brims and record his villain monologue, but Remi, Blyke, and Isen nearly die from Fury, another EMBER agent. Doc saves Remi and Blyke while Elaine saves Isen
- John's dad finally learns why his wife left and is being used as a test subject by the bureau, and he publishes "unordinary" as "untitled" online to wage war against the authorities
- Sera and John give Arlo a map to where Spectre's base could be and he goes with his mentor. The bureau saves them in time and arrests a bunch of the Spectre people
- John's dad is assassinated by the bureau around the same time new vigilantes start popping up everywhere
- Sera gets her ability back thanks to Johns blood, the amps Blyke had, and Doc's chemistry prowess
- Arlo's aunt Valerie nearly captures Sera when the deal falls through since Sera refuses to work for a corrupt govt. Val frames Arlo as the mastermind of the betrayal to "save" his reputation
- John's uncle comes to Wellston to tell John that William is dead
- Arlo's mentor (Kassandra) is shown the footage of Vulcan and Brims and shows Arlo, they both realize how corrupt EMBER and the bureau truly are
- Vaughn is ousted as headmaster and is arrested but Keene (security guy with glasses) breaks him free, and they both flee from the scene
Season 2 ends with the school being taken over by the former headmistress Sylvia. The school gets surrounded by cops and John, Blyke, Isen, Remi, and Arlo all try to fight them. John nearly died but is rescued by Remi and Isen, and Blyke and Arlo are captured. Blyke is thrown into Lovun prison while Arlo is hypnotized by Fury/Farrah. John and Sera reunite at John's uncle's place and decide to save Blyke and Arlo...!
Okay now you can either read to see all this in action or continue to not read it but I swear it's so good...
