i'm pretty sure it's to let readers know what their top/bottom dynamics are at the very beginning of the story instead of having to wait a few more weeks until they actually do have sex. and if people like what they're seeing at the start they'll most likely stick around to see it happen in the plot
Why do BL manhwas nowadays always start with sex scenes? Am I the only one who doesn’t like it and prefer the story building up to it?
