BTW, please do not scruff a cat IRL like that, be gentle. Improper scruffing techniques can cause pain or strain on the neck area. And can cause stress, unlike the mommy cat using it to transport their kitten.
Anyway, isn't the story getting bit ridiculous? After all that drama, we back at square one. Well, good luck ML for getting MC to your side. He may have instantly forgiven his mother for his years of suffering (which I found weird tbh). But if it's you, he may hate you for a very long time, until you probably have to beg him!
