Oh my goood bruh, does JK have some kind of illness where saying the word “sorry” makes him mute or something?

Jokes aside, I get that it’s more realistic for him to act this way and that I can’t expect a radical change overnight, but c’mon now—80 chapters have passed and JK only shows regret in his thoughts. It’s time for some actual action, at least a small apology would be nice.

as someone who knows someone with anger issues it’s prob not in his mindset or thoughts whatsoever he’s looking for things and people to blame, lacks any concept of accountability

Of course he’s got anger issues and it’s really obvious. It’s a pretty delicate situation, and honestly I can’t predict what’s going to happen in the next chapters. I’m sure it’ll turn out okay eventually, but I’m really curious to see how Mingwa is going to make it work, because right now it’s hard for me to imagine how JK could ever make it up to Kim Dan.

obviously, I’m not expecting some big redemption arc where he gets down on his knees and begs for forgiveness in the very next chapter (though I’ll definitely be waiting for that later on, and I really hope it’ll be a redemption arc like in banana Scndal)
It’s just a little frustrating, but I want to trust the process—even though it’s getting harder and harder.

You have more faith than me xD even after this ends I don’t think I’ll ever find it believable. I don’t find it realistic or I haven’t yet met someone lacking this much empathy and hurting others carelessly changing for the better permanently. I got catfished since bj Alex wasn’t that bad and now I just what to know how the author will resolve this, one of the worst semes in bl history

I get why you feel that way tbh, its understandable. And yeah maybe I have too much faith...and just to be clear i only find this situation ‘believable’ in fiction — in real life I’d never want to deal with someone like that.
I agree with you on how the author could handle things at this point :')

Okies I get you! Yeah if I suspend disbelief the author is doing a decent job of resolution so far!

    - JK is injured so he’s forced to take a break and maybe has time to use his brain for the first time ever

    - Kim Dan isn’t swooning back into his arms he’s realized reality of the situation and moved on and is struggling from the trauma of giving his heart to someone and the abuse he suffered from said person he opened up to and also the trauma of working so hard to save the life of the only person he has in the world. Him being scared of JK is realistic

    - Kind of a stretch for me but JK is subconsciously developing feelings for Kim Dan so emotional progress of wanting to save him / jealously towards others Kim Dan interacts with

    - Also realistic that JK doesn’t fully understand or acknowledge his part in the situation and has more subconscious guilt about the situation than awareness he lives in a very physically reactive consciousness so the anxiety and heart palpitations from stress about Kim Dan makes sense versus any emotional introspection about why Kim Dan is behaving this way
