Like ok i could understand a "funnel all recources to able bodied combatants" attitude if the situation *actually* seemed more dire. Like monsters are continuously coming over the walls and funds/space/manpower are extremely limited, and spending money on the injured means that sacrifices will need to be made.
BUT THEY JUST HAD ANOTHER BUILDING ACROSS THE ROAD AND HE APPARENTLY JUST -HAD- THE MONEY FOR HER HYPOTHETICAL CHARITY. like idc about his sad childhood this level of mismanagement seems more like active malice rather than neglect. Even if they didnt have manpower to spare they couldve left the injured in the spare goddamn building rather than a literal shed
