I finally came here after finishing GED in case I got GED spoilers. I like the MC well enough and the way he balances scamming people for his own life-span gain and having standards when it comes to medical care.
However, I dunno if it’s flying over my head a little maybe, I’m surprised at how semi-shallow Rakiel’s/Lee Han’s most significant relationships with his doctor and the original MC kinda are. Like I see that they are trying. There are moments. But I’m not feeling it.
Maybe it’s because GED spoiled me rotton. GED spent a good portion of its beginning just getting Javier’s negative impression of Kim Suho Lloyd to be positive. But here, after the underground arena arc, Damien feels somewhat side-lined even when he’s around all the time. I think the other doctor character has more chemistry with Rakiel than him since they have similar professions and a longer history together.
Or maybe it’s my fault for drawing comparisons. This Javillion character has finally showed up for me and the comments seem to make it look like THIS is the significant relationship I should invest in.
