Actually yes he is not bad he is rich older and man who got no way to beg someone in life why would he do that? Novel is actually worst but manhwa made it pretty decent and uke doesn't hate seme i mean sure seme put uke to come to him but I sort of liking it despite so many hate here
Yeah the storyboard artist/adaptation team is definitely going for different route which I enjoy I think with the novel being a bit more on the brutal side it would’ve backfired bc the MC looks so angel like and young lol which the novel loves to glaze a lot
First time I m liking manhwa adaption way than novel , if it were ti follow og novel plot i also would have dropped it cuz I can't see such a young cute innocent uke treated badly by seme. But in manhwa thys made it like if uke follow him obediently he would care and about him. Even though he is just using him as a fairy(prostitute) ....
All the comments here makes me seem I'm blind. Haha. Because at this point Director Gu is not that bad according only to me. Might have to do with me reading a lot worse than this. So, anyway he coerced him to be his fairy, true but he's not the type that shove and fck it guy, like the others. Also, I might be wrong but I thought he's gonna die if he didn't find and sleep with waterfall or something that turns out to be Cheongwoo, so he's rough and desperate. But still that's not an excuse to do all that just because he can, he might just deliberately doing all these to scare Cheongwoo. He's even compromising, removing that beads, carrying him and all, though that's just the bare minimum. Lol. Plus the comedic aspect on the scenes that tackles some serious and dark tone on the story actually makes me laugh for real, and I like it. It made it somehow bearable, now I have a love hate relationship with Director Gu's character. Haha. He's scary, but also gentle, harsh but also caring. I can't totally hate him or love him.
P.s I'm gonna read the novel since a lot of people says he's actually more insufferable there. I want to judge it myself.
