and for actual spoilers in no order: lil bro just wants the throne fosho. admits it straight to her face in c17, guard confesses his srs love, mc chooses idiot prince, the 2nd prince paid commoner girl to marry crown prince to get him disowned, commoner girl falls for mc's cross dressing identity -without mc trying to woo her-, mc told dad everything & he told her she could keep pursuing the prince or she could marry the capable bodyguard; his station didn't matter, lil bro did actually kind of have a thing for mc -or at least her capability & fam-, idiot crown prince went out to look for fabrics for mc's new royal room at lil bro's behest & that's how he met commoner girl, in the end crown prince chooses mc & proposes in front of commoner girl & the bodyguard guy; both who basically be in love with mc at this point.....rip for both of them. commoner girl had a mini mental breakdown when she learned mc was crossdressing but wished her happiness. bodyguard/alan?alen? decides to leave the capital & mc is like come back when u no longer love me; ur my precious partner! be my royal bodyguard! & boy be sufferin. bittersweet parting. crown prince finally apologizes for cheating & then tells her he actually loved her all along but was insecure because she wouldn't laugh & smile with him like she did with friends; she just treated him as the prince....bro should have used his words /though mc didn't realize she loved him till commoner girl said she didn't love him & mc was like 'oh no he will be hurt!'.............aaaaaaand it looks like it could be the end?? with them happily reconciling & embracing??? but it doesn't say it's the end so who knows
i'd say i was disappointed by this. mc is strong but idk. it started good and then went pretty typical. i also didn't love her full on knowing guard boys deep love & being like 'come back to me when your love is gone! i still want to be with you! ur my precious partner & fam!'
