tbf, Naoki did ask him "what about the tattoo you drew?" and he said that "i realized that this wasn't it" which seems to imply that he drew that for Naoki but he felt like it didn't suit Naoki, if i were Naoki, i'd misunderstand him too

wait isnt this all just a misunderstanding?? he wasn't inspired to tattoo the same thing on Naoki after sex, he was inspired to finally move on from his mentor and finish his mentors tattoo (the snake with the blank circle). What Naoki saw wasn't his tattoo but Aisuke trying to complete what he started on his mentor. Or am i just reading too deep into it?!
