I don’t like how the slaves are just like, ‘thanks for saving me! This is so much better than slavery! I would love to work here for the rest of my life! I guess I’m Japanese now haha!’ Like bro they didn’t even wanna go home, had zero questions, nothing. Straight up accepted it, got new names immediately after like bruh wut. The only saving grace here is that they weren’t African slaves cause that would have been a whole other ball park.
