Exactly. That's why I'd be crying if the string was still connected. It would mean they were forced into the relationship if they got together only because of that red string.
My thoughts more or less. If it comes back later cool but just having him choose to be with him despite the lack of/cut string is much more romantic than him just rolling with it.
