SO! MC is a small-time author of some sort, and he was kinda broke. Then, he got like a secret admirer.
Also, it was this guy with blonde hair, he was handsome but had really dirty nails, and he would peel onions 24/7 on the apartment stairs leading up to his room.
I don't remember much beyond that. Please help.
