From the spoilers I’ve seen, the FL is actually the duchess, and ofc her lover will be the ML rapist duke sigh, I’m tired where these stories justify the cheating the FL does (which isn’t even cheating it’s RAPE) is bc her boyfriend is actually a CHEATER and does not love her. Lowkey sick of this type of justification, like he’s written in this loveable way that you feel sorry, only to be baited and it’s revealed he’s a MANWHORE. And ofc the FL is a “virgin” who never slept with her boyfriend so it’s to justify in these types of stories where she is “pure” and only slept with one man. I’m tired of this trope like atp the boyfriend subplot was not needed ?? It’s not even this story specifically but in general tbh that I’m sick of.
