I can relate!! Its my assumption but i think grandpa distance himself from yeon, because he knew his son doesn't have much time and yeon's condition too where she is extremely weak and targeted..he knew he is trying to save his son but somehow there is no guarantee and it's same with yeon because if clan people who doesn't like both (father and grandfather) and after the seat could harm her and she can't protect herself. Even though in the past he kept distance and she's only child and suffer bullying regardless.. since around thoes times these supposed strong people with so many enemies are not allowed to express their feelings!! I feel so bad that grandfather father and Yeon they're having same kind of situation and I'm glad their relationship is going well.. :(
