Eri is def on the aro/asex spectrum. This is definitely a bit more unfair to fuyuki while she figures out what she feels about her, but I think the main point trying to get put across is that Eri was only in relationships because she felt like it was the norm, or she felt like she had to. She never really thought about those people in that way, but she is now seeing fuyuki in that light. Whether good or bad, idk, but I think exploring their feelings in a more romantic sense than a friendly one is overall better for both of them than letting things get ambiguous or breaking off the relationship forever and letting resentment build without even trying bc they've been friends for so long.
