He imprisons her at some point in the story but restricting her movements completely and keeping her shackled as long as he was not around or just allow a walk in a confined garden due to a misunderstanding that she wants to leave with petios(who is alive and held in the hospital) ,the fl tries to make him understand but he doesnt so he keeps on chaining her when she tried to escape and then drugging her too after she tried to threaten him with suicide if he doesnt let petios run But he realises his mistake when she tried to hang herself under the influence of drugs and lets her go and goes on to die , obviously nothing like this happen as the fl already liked him contrary to his beliefs and happy ending after an honest confrontation
