I haven’t read the novel, but after the mc ran away, everything started to seem too rushed and slowly stopped making sense. I felt like these are not the same characters as before, at the very end I just felt completely detached from them which is sad because during s1 it was one of my favourite manhwas ever. I get focusing on the main couple more, but suddenly the other guild members just became third rate meaningless characters. We stopped having any heartfelt meaningful scenes, the angst was just not enough and for some reason felt too empty. The wife chasing could have been so much better but they both really seemed like a shell of a characters we used to know. I still like this story a lot, I’d recommend it for any guideverse fan, but damn this could have had so much better execution.
