Maybe because they are not 100% happy in their current state. And this is from Andrew's pov too. Altho he did get flowers at one moment but the rest we can feel that he needs more affection from Luke

I was reading this and I was like why have they been so grey and kinda colorless lately and I swear I thought i was insane and that it’s always been like that but I went to the old chapters and I forgot how colorful, bright, and lively they were but I still like the new colors :pp
