Unpopular opinion

Feel free to bxtch me out for this. But some of these manga/manhwa/etc have such ugly/lazy art styles. I mean you’re publishing something where the art alone is so important. And before you start coming at me, I’m aware of the brutal schedule a lot of these artists have and are often rushed to get their chapter out, so I’m not exactly talking about these artists specifically. But idk man. I’m just disappointed in the amount of reads I see on here with art that’s just not good. Anatomy is bad, different facial expressions don’t seem to exist, seggs positions are awkward in smut almost like they don’t know what sex really looks like. And don’t even get me started on the weird way these artists draw their ukes (like literal children). The art in these works are a literal selling point. Yes the story itself matters too, but honestly the art is what grabs people’s initial interest. Idk as an artist myself I would wanna feel proud of my work and not publish something done lazily just to say I published something. And before you come at me again, I realize that everyone has different opinions on what “bad” art is. But I think a lot of time it’s blatantly obvious which artists are being lazy and which put in real time and effort. Thank you for coming to my ted talk
