I mean, letting aside the fact that she’s in love with her husband (but technically the new guy doesn’t know), how would she go back to someone who refused her?

Bro this guy needs to back off. Like in this time period is was very inappropriate for a guy to just meet a married woman alone and he husband already said no like what are you going to say at this point. She’s already married and has moved on anything you say will just complicate things. If he truly loved her in the past he would be satisfied with the thought that she was ok and leave
