I'm on Ch 185 of the novel and EVERYTHING about this story is a masterpiece. The regret arc is so fucking good I almost empathized with ML (that does not happen to me in these kinds of stories). The MC's harsh journey, how the events and the ML broke him, and his healing made me cry like a bitch. The happy ending is worth it all. You would expect that every wrong doing the ML did will be swept under the rug but NO. Everything he did haunts him even after years have passed and though he changed and became the best version of himself, he never forgot what he has done/said to the MC and how much it damaged the MC. He continues his regret until the side stories even up to ch 185 which I just finished. This is unlike any other BL I have read. DAMN
