I get why people are frustrated by the uke, he pissed me off a bit too but I understood his choices. He was abused and told by his parents that liking men was a mental illness up until he ran away. It actually made sense that he ran away to try being “normal” (be straight) and ended up having a kid (it can happen even if you only do it once) He was also probably feeling guilty for “turning” taeyang gay. I mean yeah it was fucked up of him to break up with him over a note after he leaving the country(i think) but he was a traumatized college student at the time. In the future(or present) you could tell that he was still scared and felt like he would “ruin” Taeyangs chance at a “normal” life. jihwan needed someone to be patient and reassuring. Teayang is exactly that and when he loses patience he always goes back to apologize but to stand his ground on his perspective.
