I understand the Caesar hate train (cuz I hate him too for what he has done to Ruby) but I think we should appreciate how the author wants to put a depth to his/her characters. (cuz some stories just dont explain how this and that happened ornjust straight out rush the characters)
These Caesar chapters were not meant to make the readers symphatize with him (unless if you do think so) but rather, make us understand how the situation come to that extreme. By which we can conclude that despite those circumstances he experienced, does not justify his acts towards Ruby.
It really made me appreciate how greatly written the story was, and its tiring to read the comment about how they dont want to read this and that bla bla bla. Maybe I was expecting more of a psychological discussion since the story already tackled depression/eating disorders.
Nervertheless, I've been silently reading this since, and has been my comfort manhwa. Seeing how this turns out saddened me.
