I think it's really cool seeing Cesare's pov, it shows how twisted his memories are and that he never really understood Ruby. He's clearly the villain but in his mind he's in the right. He thinks he's her saviour when in reality he is the one abusing her.
Basically yh, he thought Ruby betrayed him and broke the promise and began ab*sing her
he abused her but yet, portray ruby as the one who betrayed him?
i want this flashback to end asap.
