Manhwa with manga layout
Manhwa = korean comic
Manga = Japanese comic
Manhua = Chinese comic
Most manhwas and manhuas tend to have a webtoon format. That means long pages with small split up images. Where mangas tend to be in a A4/A5 format. Since mangas were made by hand with ink, so they basically put in as much art and text into one page. Its easy make a book out of it and sell it. Japan also makes huge amount of money from selling them. In 2020, annual sales of manga exceeded ¥600 billion.
Its also nicer to read! If you were to buy a manhwa as book you'd buy more white pages then actual art and story xD
