i think the lack of sympathy in the comments section is disheartening as someone who's also struggling with their mental health and addiction.
it's scary, and it's suffocating.
also also , do remember that og ise wasn't the reason his group was bad, it's a combination of everyone's lack of effort and problems. they were all struggling tgt.
yea, he was a shitty person to his family and his team members, he doesn't have friends and stuff like that but he was also deep in depression and substance abuse. like when mc first woke up from his body,, it was literally after an OD attempt. mental wellbeing never excuses bad actions but it does provide some explanation.
Imagine if og ise was genuinely watching everything went down and he saw how someone can make do with his life so much better than he was able to adapt to it originally because that person was mentally well adjusted and was generally more matured bc mc was already well past the first start of adulthood and was already familiar with stardom bc of his previous celebrity chef life.
Who wouldn't be jealous? og ise was barely an adult, and he was lost with no guidance, hating himself from the depression and addiction, and he's witnessing that miserable life just suddenly being maneuvered around like it was nothing? Ise's one and only life he knew was devastating and this new guy (our mc) got to live 2 different fulfilling lives? (his own and ise's)? I'd crash the fuck out too bro.
I wish this'll take the direction where they'll talk it out and someone help og ise too.
