the uke was in a situation he couldn’t get out and had to find a way for BOTH of them to escape, imo he did his best to get out of a fucked up situation when he was a powerless kid and against a literal group of gangsters. his sense of reason is what made both of them alive to this day so what can he really do as a kid :|
