his mom is dead, that’s the older brother’s mother/the chairman’s wife. we haven’t gotten too much info about him yet but it’s clear they’re not on good terms, my theory is that the chairman probably loved taeha’s mother & their marriage (w older son’s mother) is probably for convenience relating to their businesses.
