no, the gaslighting was just too good before and actually on the latest 3 chapters it's already established that ml got busted with the whole fake bf thingy and changed his plan into seducing/make mc fall in love with him instead bcs mc already told him he dw to date him/they're not bfs. so actually the confusion should be cleared by now tho as now ml is on mission lmao
Even if he changed his plan into "i'll just make you fall for me," he *keeps* talking like they've been dating fr. I wouldn't say he was "busted," per say, either, as he never really confirms it, he just keeps talking over Maho-- so it looks more like he is accommodating for Maho and avoiding giving a "yes/no" answer.
Ofc, this isn't to say that I believe they've been dating fr, but the story itself has been making it look kinda ambiguous still
i would say it’s bcs of the translation tho bcs atp both of them already know the truth and ml knows mc will go along with him either way (someone said he’s a green flag manipulative bf lmaoo) so even if it’s not verbally confirmed, it is already done and they’re moving to the next phase now ^^
I'm confused as hell. Are they actually lover because some of the flashback maho has seem like it can be in the past and not what happening a few days back or is the top gaslighting too good and maho narration feeds into his gaslighting.
