hm, this seems to hint that he was the beast man whom lured him away at that time. doesn't explain how everyone disappeared that fast. though time distortion still could be a thing. (the mental one) as for them looking different ages, we don't know their ages and physically they could age differently. As for the furry king, i am guessing the pups or our wolfy main are royals too and there was an issue so they ran off. in this case they should run further, but it is nice they have a place to return to. Considering they are not looking to cause a mess, it should stop the hunt.
