I love this author and I actually really liked how morally grey everyone was. Despite having some issues (really think the author really missed out on some opportunity to flesh out the family dynamic and explain the WHY behind both brothers behaviors,) i think it’s honestly just an entertaining read more than it is complex, wish there was some more Nick like- inner thought/ monologue?? since it’s from the mc’s perspective, he don’t see it, but surely the breakup had to hurt him to some degree despite how emotionless about it he seems.
