Honestly, I kinda understand why people might not like Akari, but I personally loved his character a lot. Usually, in BLs the "villains" are either girls, homophobic people or other guys who like one of the MCs. It was refreshing to see someone like Akari. The way Akari was so scared is so relatable to me because being part of the community you have to face so much shit from others and sometimes it affects people around you too. His paranoia was very real. But obviously a person shouldn't spread their internalized homophobia like that. But I really liked the story and the ending. And I loved Akari too.
