This manhwa was so viscerally boring I genuinely could not finish it. It's as if nothing of importance happens until after ch 100 (That's 10 chapters before it ends btw!)
The characters are so flat. The plot genuinely could have been something extraordinary but the execution was dog sh*t. The author talks up the different scenes and events, creates a feeling of anticipation and makes you think "ohh this is going to be something important/really good"... Only for them to occur haphazardly or be rushed through. They talk about her coming of age ceremony for half the damn book... only for her to skip the majority of it after dancing with her brother?
Crazy amount of monologuing from Kayena. It gets old fast because all she says is the same crap over and over again. "Revenge uwaaa" (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ "oh but Regeth just needs love and affection he's not crazy" (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ "Oh my God so I actually have feelings for Raffaelo" (・o・)
Why did it take 60+ chapters for her to realize her brother is a disgusting excuse of a human being? It's as if the author wants to give her the air of a cunning villainess who's playing both sides... when really all it gives is the air of stupidity. I'm genuinely enraged that I spent time on this. Over half the damn comic and you couldn't tell he was an obsessive pos? What in the "I can fix him" headassery was this supposed to be?
Someone said the one good aspect of this story was the nanny and I agree. That was a well executed plot point. Too bad it's so minor within the overarching plot.
Overall, do not know why this is rated so high. It's buns. Skip it. The art is pretty but that's about it.
