I’m going to start reading the webcomic, but I don’t think I’ll be reading the novel. How comparable is the comic to the novel? Or am I missing a good chunk of story if I don’t read the novel?
My main reason for wanting to read this one is mainly because I want to make my own opinion about Caesar.
I’ve read a bit before and read the comments and he’s definitely unhinged, but just how much? I constantly see him being compared to Ilay and Zhenya and who’s worse, and I’ve seen all kinds of answers.
I’ve read both Passion and Codename Anastasia in their entirety, so I have a pretty good idea of these 2 MLs.
Anyway, I don’t think it’ll be reading the Roses and Champagne novel, mainly because I read somewhere that Dimitri (that’s Caesar’s cousin, right?) is creepier in the novel than the comic and I’ve come to realize that I don’t like those types of characters who are obsessed with MC or ML.
