At the end of this panel shows a monologue of Utou and the flash back seems to be the time when Sasabe was raped by his classmates.
Is the beta friend Utou? Or did he witness the act in any way?

    oh, that's actually a flashback where Miyabi was being violated by the higher ups. That's why in Utou's monologue, he was apologizing because he could only watch Miyabi being treated that way instead of reaching out to him.
