I know everyone was expecting lots of groveling and apologies, but having JK realize how much he's harmed Dan and how severe Dan's depression goes is the cherry on top for me
Him being so desperate to make up for past mistakes and realizing his actions have consequences is such a good turning point for him.
He realizes that Dan's depression is not skin deep and actually could end in suicide, remembering his past and WHY he wanted to get stronger and become the champion, seeing that Kim Dan doesn't need him but instead HE needs Dan, and having to realize he is terrible at accountability and now actually needing to use his words instead of bullying people. Its all to delicious!!!
