To show his dominant alpha part of character. He is aggressive, violent, and a bit unpredictable. There is a reason why they call him crazy dog. The manhwa adaption even left out that he bit off the tounge of another actor who provoked him.
Chase is a bit like Keith, who also has anger issues, is short tempered.
