For me personally the first couple is weird bcs the bottom looks and acts like a kid, like a literal 10 y.o child... it doesn't help that he also looks like a kid so thats my personal "turn off" also HATE the SA and rape stuff (by some other guy not his top) but that aside its nothing we haven't seen in the other bls. I read for the second couple tbh

I'm also disappointed with how different he looked in first few chapters, somehow his face was more mature and manly. Than suddenly he started having childlike face too (Ik he's young but young man can look masculine enough). Paired with his mental state due to everything he ensured during the capture it really puts one off.

Overall story is very dark, even new chapters in raws including the new couple, the old guy suffered some gruesome things in his youth. All of it fits the vibe of the time and place it's settled in. Even after Albin's mental state progressed and he's extremely bright, he's comprehension of the world he lives still isn't in the place where I would like it to be to comfortably see him engaging in sexual acts. But looking at it as a whole I think things fit together very well the way they are. And us being disgusted or uncomfortable with certain actions show is exactly what normal reaction should be.
