I had really high hopes for this. The art is absolutely gorgeous, the premise seemed interesting at the beginning, the priest / religious aspect was interesting (and super hot ngl,) but somewhere halfway through the plot just got muddy. Things weren’t well explained, and seemed to just happen ‘because they could!’ to save the plot. You also can’t convince me that Saliou and Gabriel had ANY chemistry. Gabriel was so stoic and barely showed any actual emotional connection to Gabriel. Obviously I don’t think Gabriel should have ended up with Paolo, because he raped him, but when the scenes with the side character are hotter, and much more detailed than the main interest??? We have an issue. Seriously I felt like the author put NO work into Gabriel and Saliou’s relationship. Weird pacing, muddy plot, forgettable side characters, gorgeous art style wasted
