it’s been a while since I read the translations but if I recall correctly della is surprised to hear about keith wanting to split up & definitely hurt. (they argue about it like a married couple while driving) eventually they split up for a couple of chapters. they reunite after della breaks into the place keith is staying & admits that he’s been following keith since they split up & is the reason why keith has been living so peacefully. della claims he went there to kill him (yeah, sure) but was just happy to see him as soon as he saw him again. keith admits he missed him too & they have sex.
